DEVELOPMENT OF GUIDANCE ON PROTECTED AREAS AND SPECIES AT RISK
For the Canadian Boreal Forest Agreement, we supported the National Working Group on Protected Areas and Species at Risk through the development of guidance on protected area networks and species at risk conservation by providing coordination, by facilitating discussions among ENGO and forest industry signatories, by working with external experts, and by synthesizing up-to-date scientific knowledge.
LANDSCAPE MODELLING FOR THE NORTHWEST TERRITORIES
As the Department of Environment and Natural Resources of the Government of the Northwest Territories and its stakeholders were looking to gain a better understanding of cumulative effects modelling, we provided insights into the application, requirements, and possible outputs of spatially and temporally explicit landscape models in an interactive workshop context.

For the Canadian Boreal Forest Agreement, and in collaboration with its National Working Group on Protected Areas and Species at Risk, we developed a tool-box of methods for the integration of social and economic values into conservation planning.
